Tastes of Aloha is a Hawaiian specialty foods company that has partnered with local farmers and artisans across the islands since 2001. What began with a love of Hawaiian coffee and island food gifts has grown into a curated collection of goods made in the State of Hawai'i, from Kona coffee and tropical jams to teas, syrups, baking mixes, and seasonings. Coffee is the heart of the catalog. Tastes of Aloha carries 100% Kona coffee, single-origin and grown in the mineral-rich volcanic soil of the Big Island's Kona Coast, from roasters including Farmers Choice (which began sourcing from local Kona farmers in 1990) and Volcano Coffee Company. The coffees come in everyday 6 to 7 oz bags, a keepsake burlap bag, and 2 and 5 lb bulk sizes, in whole bean or ground.
Beyond coffee, the shop gathers work from small island makers: cold-brew and herbal teas from Oribe Tea Co. in Hilo and Sol Remedies on Kaua'i, a pineapple jam from Dip into Paradise, a coconut milk powder from NOH Foods of Hawai'i, a pineapple buttermilk pancake mix from Hawaii's Finest Specialties, tropical salt water taffy from Hawaiian Sweets Co., and a breadfruit (ʻulu) baking mix that supports the Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Cooperative.
