Spiced Aleppo Chili Ghee Popcorn

Aromatic and slightly spicy popcorn coated with nutty Aleppo Chili Ghee and finished with coarse sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tablespoons Aleppo Chili Ghee, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sumac (optional)
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pop popcorn using your preferred method (air-popper, stovetop in a covered pot, or microwave).
  2. Transfer popped popcorn to a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle with melted Aleppo Chili Ghee while tossing gently to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt, sumac if using, and a grinding of fresh black pepper.
  5. Toss again to distribute seasonings evenly.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
