Cardamom Maple Glazed French Toast

Aromatic cardamom and pure maple syrup elevate classic French toast.

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup Cardamom Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 8 thick slices brioche bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, cardamom.
  2. Heat buttered nonstick skillet over medium.
  3. Dip each bread slice, coating both sides.
  4. Cook 3-4 minutes until golden.
  5. Flip and cook another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Transfer to serving plate.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with cardamom maple syrup.
