Roasted Jalapeño Mac & Cheese

Creamy baked mac and cheese with a fiery kick from Roasted Jalapeño sauce, creating the ultimate comfort food with sophisticated heat.

Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup gruyere cheese, shredded
- 2-3 tbsp Enemies by Morning hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
- In a large pot, melt 4 tbsp butter over medium heat and whisk in flour to create a roux.
- Cook the roux for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar, gruyere, Enemies by Morning sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in cooked pasta and transfer to a greased 9x13 baking dish.
- Mix panko with 2 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle over top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
