Roasted Jalapeño Mac & Cheese

Creamy baked mac and cheese with a fiery kick from Roasted Jalapeño sauce, creating the ultimate comfort food with sophisticated heat.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 2-3 tbsp Enemies by Morning hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  2. In a large pot, melt 4 tbsp butter over medium heat and whisk in flour to create a roux.
  3. Cook the roux for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar, gruyere, Enemies by Morning sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Fold in cooked pasta and transfer to a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  7. Mix panko with 2 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle over top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
