Ingredients

  • Turmeric Crackers with Poppy Seeds (1 package)
  • Chickpeas, canned (1 can, drained and rinsed)
  • Tahini (2 tablespoons)
  • Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Garlic clove (1, minced)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Fresh vegetables for platter (carrots, cucumber, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes)

Instructions

  1. Make the hummus: In a food processor, combine drained chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Process until smooth and creamy, adding a splash of water if needed to reach desired consistency.
  2. Season hummus with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a small bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil on top.
  3. Arrange Turmeric Crackers with Poppy Seeds on a large serving board or platter.
  4. Place the hummus bowl in the center and surround with fresh vegetable slices arranged in sections.
  5. Drizzle the hummus with a little extra olive oil and sprinkle with paprika or fresh herbs if desired.
