Black Plastic 1 Gallon Feeder Jar

The Black Plastic 1 Gallon Feeder Jar is a syrup feeder jar four times the size of a typical feeder, so you refill less often while still fitting an entrance feeder. Its black, UV-inhibited plastic resists sun damage, and it shares the dimensions of a milk jug for easy stacking and transport.

At a glance

• Type: Sugar syrup feeder jar
• Capacity: 1.05 gallons (128+ fluid ounces)
• Material: Thick-walled, UV-inhibited, #5 recyclable plastic
• Lid: Wide mouth fits 70mm mason jar lids (not included)
• Fit: Works as a boardman entrance feeder or a top feeder, and fits under a telescoping cover on a single deep box
• Handling: Milk-jug dimensions with a textured grip; about 6.5 oz

Best for

• Backyard and commercial beekeepers feeding syrup
• Reducing how often you refill feeders
• Entrance, top, or in-box feeding setups
• Stacking and storing in milk crates

How to use

Fill the jar with sugar syrup and seal it with a 70mm mason jar lid (not included). Invert it for a boardman entrance feeder, or place it upright above an inner cover inside a deep box. Its short profile fits under a telescoping cover even on a single-box hive. Rinse with warm water after use and keep away from open flame.
