Blueberry Preserve Thumbprint Cookies

Buttery shortbread-style thumbprint cookies filled with tart-sweet Wild Maine Blueberry Preserve. Perfect for tea time or gift-giving.

Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (1.5 cups)
- Butter, softened (1/2 cup)
- Sugar (1/4 cup)
- Egg yolk (1)
- Vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
- Wild Maine Blueberry Preserve (1/2 cup)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Fold in flour and salt.
- Scoop into 1-inch balls, place 2 inches apart.
- Press an indentation in each center. Fill with 1 tsp Blueberry Preserve.
- Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks. Dust with powdered sugar.
