10-Frame All-Medium Box Hive Kit

The 10-Frame All-Medium Box Hive Kit is a complete cypress starter hive that uses one box size, one frame size, and one foundation size throughout. An all-medium setup keeps every frame and box interchangeable and cuts lifting weight compared with deep boxes.

At a glance

• Configuration: All-medium, 10-frame hive
• Material: Rot-resistant cypress, 7/8-inch thick boards
• Foundation: Double-waxed plastic foundation for better bee acceptance
• Bottom board: Screened bottom board included
• Boxes: Three 10-frame medium boxes
• Assembly: Choose unassembled, assembled, or assembled and painted

Best for

• Beekeepers who want one interchangeable equipment size
• Reducing lifting weight during inspections and harvest
• Starting a first colony with the essential woodenware
• Those planning to expand with more medium supers later
• A complete gift setup for a new beekeeper

How to use

The kit includes one 10-frame telescoping cover, one inner cover, one screened bottom board, three 10-frame medium boxes, thirty grooved-top, grooved-bottom medium frames, thirty medium sheets of double-wax foundation, and one entrance reducer.
