The 10-Frame Complete Medium Box is a 6 5/8-inch cypress super that ships with frames and double-wax foundation, giving bees space to store surplus honey. Also called an Illinois, super, or honey box, the medium is much lighter than a deep and can also serve as brood space in an all-medium hive.

How to use
If unassembled, assemble the box and frames, then install the foundation. Place the medium above the brood box as a honey super, or use it throughout the hive in an all-medium setup. Assembled boxes are stapled for strength, and painted kits are primed and finished with UV-resistant white paint on the exterior.
