The 10-Frame Cypress Deep Brood Box is a standard 9 5/8-inch Langstroth hive body built from rot-resistant cypress. It is most often used as brood space where the queen lays eggs, and it can also hold frames and foundation or serve as spacer room for certain feeders.

How to use
If unassembled, assemble the box with staples or nails. Add frames and foundation, then place the box at the bottom of the hive as brood space. Assembled boxes are stapled for long-term strength, and painted boxes receive white primer and a UV-resistant white exterior coat. A wax dipping preservation service is available for assembled boxes.
