The 10-Frame Double Deep Box Hive Kit is a complete cypress brood chamber built from two 10-frame deep boxes, the setup most beekeepers start with and keep. The queen lays and the colony raises brood and stores winter food in these boxes, with medium honey supers added on top later.

How to use
The kit includes two deep brood boxes, one screened bottom board, one inner cover, one telescoping outer cover, one wooden entrance reducer, twenty deep frames, and twenty double-waxed deep foundation sheets. If unassembled, assemble and nail the boxes and frames, then install the foundation. Stack both deeps on the bottom board as the brood chamber and add medium supers once the boxes fill. Honey supers, a queen excluder, a hive stand, bees, and protective gear are sold separately.
