12 oz Glass Skep Jars

The 12 oz Glass Skep Jar is a clear glass honey container with the domed, coiled-straw skep beehive shape embossed into the glass. The skep is one of the oldest symbols in beekeeping, so the jar signals real honey from real beekeepers on a market table or in a gift set.

At a glance

• Type: Glass skep honey jar
• Material: Clear glass with embossed skep detail
• Capacity: About 12 oz (340 g) honey by weight, roughly 1 cup

• Beekeepers who want a traditional look

How to use

Fill with honey and seal with a 58mm metal lug lid, sold separately. The lug thread does not accept 48mm, 63mm, or 70mm continuous thread lids, so order 58mm lug lids specifically. Glass is available for local pickup in Birmingham, Alabama, or shipped by ground or freight at the buyer's risk, with shipping insurance available at checkout.
