Apivar 2.0 is a synthetic varroa mite treatment strip with 3.00% amitraz, used to control mite populations in honey bee colonies. Bees contact the strips, pick up the active ingredient, and spread it through the hive, killing mites without harming brood, queens, or adult bees when used as directed.

How to use
Use 1 strip per 5 frames of bees in the brood chamber, hanging strips in the heart of the brood nest. Remove honey supers before treatment, and remove strips after the treatment period without exceeding 70 days. Unopened packs have a 2-year shelf life; store cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight, and use within 2 weeks once opened.
