Premium Aroid Mix For Tropical Plants

Premium Aroid Mix from Elm Dirt is a chunky, well-draining blend built for tropical aroids and other plants that hate wet feet. It recreates the airy rainforest floor with orchid bark for drainage, Ancient Soil for nutrition, and perlite for lasting structure, helping prevent root rot while encouraging vigorous root growth.

At a glance

• Chunky, well-draining potting mix for tropical plants
• Orchid bark creates drainage channels and air pockets
• Ancient Soil worm castings add 250+ species of beneficial bacteria and fungi for slow-release feeding
• Perlite keeps the mix light and prevents compaction
• Mimics the well-draining rainforest floor where aroids grow
• Available in 3-quart and 8-quart sizes

Best for

• Monsteras, including Deliciosa, Adansonii, and variegated types
• Philodendrons, Pothos, and other climbers
• Anthuriums and Alocasias
• Hoyas, orchids, and any plant that dislikes soggy soil

How to use

Pot or repot tropical plants directly into the mix, settling roots so the chunky blend supports them with plenty of air space. Water thoroughly and allow the excess to drain; the open structure dries faster than dense potting soil, so check moisture before watering again.
