BeeStrong Candy or Fondant - Ready To Use

BeeStrong Candy or Fondant is a ready-to-use, icing-type winter feed that goes directly on the top bars of the hive. It strengthens larvae by increasing available amino acids and serves as a convenient replacement for a candy board, with no mixing required.

At a glance

• Type: Ready-to-use candy or fondant winter feed
• Protein: Contains 1% protein
• Ingredients: Sucrose, glucose syrup, fructose, BeeStrong, soya lecithin (GMO-free)
• Packaging: Single 1 kg (2.2 lb) pouch, 10-pack, or case of 20
• Pouch size: 9.5 x 9.5 x 0.5 inches; a Langstroth hive holds 2 pouches (about 5 lbs of sugar)
• Use: No mixing, no risk of spilling syrup in the hive

Best for

• Winter feeding and starvation insurance
• Feeding during nectar and pollen shortages
• Spring stimulation, splits, and queen rearing
• Feeding weak colonies without causing robbing

How to use

Make two adjacent "X" cuts on the non-label side of the pouch (or one "X" peeled back) to expose the candy. Place the pouch cut-side down on the top bars, ideally directly above the brood nest, then replace the covers. Leave it in place until the bees have consumed all the candy.
