Beetle Barn

The Beetle Barn is a reusable small hive beetle trap for beekeepers who prefer bait-based control. Often called a CD-case trap, its clamshell design has side openings sized to let beetles in while keeping bees out, with a central compartment for approved bait.

How to use

Place approved bait in the central compartment and set the trap on the top bars inside the hive. Beetles enter through the side openings to reach the bait while bees stay out. Clean and reuse as needed.

Only use pesticides approved for use inside a beehive as bait. Do not use Fipronil (roach bait), boric acid, or other unapproved chemicals in this trap.
