At a glance

• Type: Basic honey bottling kit
• Includes: 4-gallon square bucket, lid, and plastic honey gate
• Material: #2 food-grade recyclable plastic
• Pre-drilled hole: Sized to fit the included honey gate
• Honey gate: Threaded valve with O-ring to reduce leaks and drips
• Compatibility: Works with standard 2-piece metal or bag honey strainers

Best for

• Bottling honey from an extractor into jars
• Beekeepers wanting a clean, controlled pour
• Pairing with metal or bag strainers
• Small-scale honey harvesting setups

How to use

Screw the threaded honey gate into the pre-drilled hole with firm pressure; many beekeepers use the top of a frame end bar to tighten it fully and minimize dripping. Set a strainer on top, pour in honey from the extractor, and open the gate to fill jars. The square shape keeps the bucket stable while you work.
