Brass Eyelets
Brass Eyelets
Brass Eyelets are small brass grommets that reinforce the wiring holes in wooden beehive frame sidebars. Pressed into the pre-drilled holes of wedge top and split bottom frames, they give cross-wires a smooth metal surface to rest against, preventing the wire from cutting into the wood and helping hold even tension across wax foundation.

How to use
Press an eyelet into each pre-drilled hole in the frame sidebar before wiring. Run your frame wire through the eyelets and pull it tight, then secure it. The brass surface protects the wood and keeps tension firm so the bees can draw straight, even comb.
