How to grow
Plant in spring or fall on cleared soil in full sun. Broadcast at about 1/4 to 1/2 pound per 1,000 square feet, or roughly 15 pounds per acre, rake in lightly to about 1/8 inch, and keep the surface moist through the 20 to 45 day germination period. Thin seedlings to about 1 inch apart when they reach 3 inches tall, and water lightly once established.
