Clemson Spineless 80 Okra Seeds (Organic)

Clemson Spineless 80 Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) is the most popular spineless okra, prized for tender, smooth, medium-green pods on tall, productive plants. Earlier and higher yielding than standard Clemson Spineless, it bears pods 3 to 9 inches long that are excellent fried, pickled, or added to soups and stews. How to grow

Grow in full sun in well-draining soil; okra loves heat and matures quickly in 50 to 60 days. The upright plants reach 4 to 5 feet and keep producing as long as you harvest regularly. Pick pods while young and tender, since frequent harvesting encourages more pods through the season.

Flavor profile

The tender pods have a mild, grassy flavor and act as a natural thickener in Cajun gumbo, while also taking well to frying, roasting, steaming, and pickling.
