Tall Lance-Leaved Coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata) is an open-pollinated perennial with brilliant yellow, 2" flowers on single stems above soft-haired foliage. Easy to grow and long-blooming when deadheaded, it draws birds, bees, and butterflies and makes an excellent cut flower. This 1/4 lb size covers roughly 1,000 square feet.

How to grow
Sow in fall or spring at 1/16" deep, using about 1/4 lb per 1,000 square feet. Germination takes 20-30 days. Thin to 12" apart once seedlings reach 1" tall. Grow in partial sun with moderate water; this coreopsis tolerates both drought and periods of moisture. Plants reach 2' to 3' and bloom the second year, from late spring into mid summer. Deadhead to prolong flowering.
