CowPots - 4" Square (Pack of 12)

CowPots 4" Square (Pack of 12) are biodegradable seed-starting pots made from 100% renewable, composted cow manure. Created by two dairy farmers, the manure-fiber walls allow unrestricted root growth for stronger, healthier plants, and you plant the whole pot to reduce or eliminate transplant shock.

At a glance

• Material: 100% renewable composted cow manure fiber
• Size: 4" square pots
• Quantity: Pack of 12
• Root growth: Fiber walls allow unrestricted root development
• Processing: Removes weeds, pathogens, and odor

Best for

• Starting seeds and growing on larger seedlings
• Transplant-sensitive crops
• Gardeners reducing plastic waste
• Vegetables, flowers, and herbs
• Indoor and outdoor seed starting

How to use

Fill the 4" pots with soil mix and sow seeds or transplant seedlings, keeping them moist but not soggy. When the plant is ready, set the entire pot into the ground or a larger container so roots grow through the walls as the pot decomposes and feeds the soil.
