Deep Internal Frame Feeder with Ladders
Deep Internal Frame Feeder with Ladders
The Deep Internal Frame Feeder with Ladders is an in-hive feeder, sometimes called a division board or frame feeder, that drops into a deep box in place of frames. A tube-style cap and ladder system lets bees climb down to the syrup safely, minimizing drowning. Available in 1-gallon (replaces 1 frame) and 1.5-gallon (replaces 2 frames) sizes.

How to use
Snap the four pieces together and insert the feeder into a deep box in place of one or two frames, often in the second box above the brood nest and toward the side. Fill through the top cap with sugar syrup; bees descend the ladder to drink safely. Remove the cap and ladder to rinse and dry the feeder between fills to prevent fermentation of old syrup.
