How to grow
Broadcast seed in spring at 1/16 inch deep in loose, sandy soil if possible, though blue flax adapts to most soils. Thin plants to 6 to 10 inches apart. It needs only light water and blooms the second spring after planting, returning year after year as it naturalizes.
