Indian Blanket Seeds (1/4 lb) grow a hardy, drought-tolerant annual wildflower (Gaillardia pulchella) with brilliant pinwheel-like flowers in yellow and red. Adaptable to a range of conditions, it blooms from mid summer to fall and makes a good cut flower. This 1/4 lb bag covers about 1,000 square feet when broadcast.

How to grow

Broadcast seed in fall at 1/8 inch deep; Indian Blanket adapts to most soils but prefers dry, sandy ground. Thin plants to 12 inches apart and give light water. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming through the season.
