Sow seed 1-1/2 to 2 inches deep in full sun and well-draining soil once it warms to 60 to 75°F. The compact bush plants are easy to grow and tolerate drought once established. Harvest pods when fully mature, then let the beans dry for storage or cook them fresh for a creamy texture.

Flavor profile

Creamy and nutty when cooked, excellent in hummus, salads, and hearty stews.
