How to grow

Plant cloves 1 inch deep in a slightly raised ridge in fall, spacing them 6 inches apart in a single row or double wide row block, then mulch to about 6 inches deep. Maintain a weed-free bed in full sun with adequate moisture. The center stalks become rigid after reaching maturity.
