How to grow

Sow in flats 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost and thin to 2" after the first true leaves appear. Give fertile soil rich in organic matter with a pH of 5.5 to 7.0, and add compost before planting. Harden off seedlings, then transplant into full sun after frost. Water deeply and consistently to avoid blossom end rot. Harvest when fruits give slightly under finger pressure.
