The HiveIQ Double Deep + Medium Kit is a complete insulated hive: two deep boxes, one medium box, a top cover, and a bottom board, plus the hardware to assemble them. Each box holds 9 frames and shares the outside dimensions of a 10-frame Langstroth hive, so a colony can manage its temperature more effectively in summer and winter.

How to use
Assemble each box by fitting the mortise and tenon joints and locking them with exterior wood glue (not included); all other hardware is included. Attach the protective edges to the bottom board and lid with a screwdriver, and silicone the steel lid to the foam for extra rigidity. Add Langstroth frames, then stack the two deeps and medium with the cover and base.
