Hot Jalapeno Early Pepper (Capsicum annuum) is a dependable, early-maturing jalapeno with dark green, thick-walled, 3-inch cone-shaped fruit that ripens to red. Better adapted to cool conditions than standard jalapenos, it is hottest when fully ripe at 4,000 to 6,000 Scoville units and can also be eaten green. Organic and Non-GMO.

How to grow

Sow 1/4" deep in full sun in well-drained soil at 75-85 F, germinating in 6 to 15 days, and thin to 12" apart. This early variety adapts well to cooler conditions. Harvest fruit green for milder heat or fully red for the hottest, fullest flavor, and pick regularly to encourage production.
