How to use
Oxalic acid vaporization works best when the hive is without capped brood, such as in winter, after a swarm, or during a requeening brood break. Turn on the vaporizer to preheat to 445F, fill the plunger with oxalic acid, and insert the stem into a drilled quarter-inch hole or the hive entrance. Tap the plunger to release the acid, which vaporizes instantly; each treatment takes about 20 to 30 seconds. Monitor battery voltage and wear protective gear to avoid breathing oxalic acid fumes.
