Jiffy Peat Round Pots - 3"

Jiffy Peat Round Pots (3") are biodegradable seed-starting pots made from Canadian sphagnum peat moss, sized larger for plants that need more root space before transplanting. They offer excellent aeration, uniform drainage, and easy root penetration, and the whole pot plants directly into the garden to minimize transplant shock.

At a glance

• Type: Biodegradable peat seed-starting pot
• Material: Canadian sphagnum peat moss
• Dimensions: 3" width x 3" height
• Features: Biodegradable, color-change water indicator (turns light brown when dry)
• Best for: Vegetables, herbs, flowers

Best for

• Plants needing extra root space
• Vegetables, herbs, and flowers
• Indoor seed-starting and greenhouse production
• Stress-free, root-undisturbed transplanting

How to use

Fill with seed-starting mix and sow, watering when the peat turns light brown to indicate dryness. At transplant time, plant the entire pot directly into the garden or container so roots remain intact and the peat decomposes naturally in the soil.
