Ladbrooke Soil Blockers - 3/4" Mini Blocker (20 Blocks)

Ladbrooke Soil Blocker, 3/4-inch Mini Blocker (20 Blocks) forms twenty small 3/4-inch soil blocks per stroke within a compact 3-by-4-inch footprint. Because the blocks have little mass, they warm rapidly for fast germination, making this the size to reach for when you need large numbers of starts or are short on space.

At a glance

• Material: Zinc-coated, solid steel
• Makes: Twenty 3/4-inch blocks per stroke (3 by 4 inch area)
• Dimensions: 3 7/8 inches W by 3 5/8 inches L by 3 1/2 inches H including handle
• Made in: England
• Best for: High-volume seed starting and small spaces

Best for

• Starting large numbers of seeds at once
• Fast germination thanks to quick-warming blocks
• Tight or limited growing spaces
• Plastic-free, waste-reducing propagation
• Potting up into 2-inch blocks as seedlings grow

How to use

Press the Mini-Blocker into moist potting mix to form twenty 3/4-inch blocks per stroke, then sow. As seedlings grow, move each mini block up into a 2-inch soil block fitted with the cubic insert pin, which leaves a pocket sized just right for the mini block to drop into. A quality soilless mix works well as the blocking medium.
