It is one of the sweetest, meatiest watermelons around, and unusually keeps its flavor even at large size. Vines yield 3 to 4 melons averaging about 20 pounds, with some reaching up to 35 pounds.

How to grow
Start seeds indoors a few weeks early or direct sow after the soil has warmed and frost has passed. Plant in full sun with rich, well-drained soil and give the vigorous vines ample room to spread. Water deeply and consistently, and harvest when the underside spot turns creamy and the tendril nearest the fruit dries.
Flavor profile
Exceptionally sweet and meaty with crisp, juicy red flesh that holds its flavor even on large melons.
