How to grow
Plant in hills or mounds with plenty of added organic matter, sowing 6 to 7 seeds per hill and thinning to the 3 best vines. In cool regions, start indoors 10 to 14 days before the last frost, or sow directly when soil is at least 70°F. Space plants 18 inches apart if trellised or 36 inches if left to sprawl. Harvest small to medium and keep picking to keep vines productive.
Flavor profile
Mild, crisp, and refreshing with firm flesh that stays crunchy through pickling, equally pleasant eaten fresh.
