Organic Monterey Horticultural Oil (Gal)

Organic Monterey Horticultural Oil is a mineral oil spray that controls insects, mites, and fungal diseases on a wide range of crops, sold here in a one-gallon size. It is the same formula previously sold as Monterey Lawn and Garden SAF-T-SIDE. The oil contains 80% mineral oil (92% unsulfonated residue) and works by suffocating eggs, larvae, nymphs, and adults of soft-bodied insects, while as a fungicide it blocks pathogens from attaching to the plant.

How to use

Mix with water at the label rate for your target pest and crop, then apply with a garden sprayer for total, even coverage, including the undersides of leaves where pests hide. Because the oil works by contact and suffocation, thorough coverage is essential. Apply in calm weather and avoid spraying plants under drought or temperature stress. Repeat as directed for ongoing control.
