How to grow

Sow into the top 1/8 inch of soil during the coolest, rainiest part of the year, or just before a winter snow so the freeze-and-thaw cycle works the small seed into the soil. Keep moist, as the shallow roots do not tolerate dry soils. Lime the soil first if it is acidic, since clover does not perform well in acid conditions. White flowers, often tinged with pink, appear in early to mid-summer.
