How to grow

Pick a sunny spot with well-drained soil, clear existing weeds, and broadcast the seed evenly over the prepared ground, then lightly rake to cover. Water gently to settle the seed and keep it moist for the first few weeks to aid germination. Once established, the native plants are largely drought tolerant. The milkweed feeds monarch caterpillars while the flowering species nourish adult butterflies and other pollinators.
