Peat Pots 4" Round

Peat Pots 4" Round are biodegradable seed-starting pots made from Canadian sphagnum peat moss, designed to be planted whole so roots are never disturbed at transplant.

At a glance

• Type: Biodegradable round peat seed-starting pot
• Material: 100% Canadian sphagnum peat moss
• Dimensions: 3 7/8" outside diameter x 3 3/4" tall (slightly smaller after shrinkage)
• Drainage and aeration: Porous walls allow uniform drainage and easy root penetration
• Water indicator: Pot walls turn light brown when dry

Best for

• Starting seeds and seedlings
• Plants sensitive to transplant shock
• Eco-conscious, plastic-free growing
• Moisture-sensitive crops needing steady aeration
• Home gardeners and small-scale propagation

How to use

Fill each pot with quality potting mix, sow seeds at the recommended depth, and keep the mix consistently moist but not waterlogged. Place in good light or under grow lights at the right temperature for your crop. When roots show through the walls, plant the entire pot in the garden, where it biodegrades into the soil and minimizes root disturbance.
