Pest Wizard Asian Citrus Psyllid ACP Trap Kit

The Pest Wizard Asian Citrus Psyllid (ACP) Trap Kit is a ready-to-use monitoring set that combines a scented lure and bright sticky cards to detect Diaphorina citri, the vector of citrus greening disease (HLB).

At a glance

• Type: Lure-and-sticky-card monitoring kit
• Target pest: Asian citrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri)
• Includes: 2 sticky cards, one 30-day lure, and 2 trap hangers
• Lure life: About 30 days
• Why it matters: ACP can carry the bacterium that causes HLB (citrus greening)

Best for

• Early detection of Asian citrus psyllid
• Home orchards and commercial citrus groves
• Integrated pest management programs
• Reducing mating and egg-laying by trapping adults
• Chemical-free citrus monitoring

How to use

Set up the sticky cards with the included hangers and add the lure, whose strong odor and the bright trap color draw psyllids in. Once they land on the adhesive, they are caught before they can mate or lay eggs, which means fewer nymphs and less fruit damage. Replace the lure about every 30 days and the cards as they fill. If you capture even one ACP, report it promptly to your county extension agent or agriculture department.
