Pest Wizard Dogwood Borer Lure 3-Pack

The Pest Wizard Dogwood Borer Lure 3-Pack is a set of three pheromone lures that selectively attract dogwood borer (Synanthedon scitula) for monitoring and trapping in landscapes and orchards. Paired with a delta trap, the lures give organic growers a chemical-free way to track this clearwing moth and time treatments.

At a glance

• Type: Pheromone attractant lure, 3-pack
• Target: Dogwood borer (Synanthedon scitula)
• Lure life: Effective for up to 45 days each
• Use with: Pest Wizard paper delta trap or reusable plastic delta trap (sold separately)
• Storage: Keep unopened lures in a cool place or freezer
• Approach: Organic, chemical-free monitoring

Best for

• Monitoring dogwood, fruit, and ornamental trees for borer activity
• Timing organic interventions before larvae tunnel into bark
• Tracking emergence of adult clearwing moths
• Orchard and landscape IPM programs
• Refreshing an existing delta trap setup

How to use

Place a lure inside a paper or plastic delta trap and hang it near the trees you want to monitor. Replace each lure about every 45 days, or per the life indicated on the package, and continue replacing lures and traps through the season as traps fill with insects.
