Pest Wizard Honey Hive Helper Lure 3-Pack

The Pest Wizard Honey Hive Helper Lure 3-Pack is a set of three Nasonov pheromone lures that attract honey bee swarms (Apis mellifera) to empty hives and swarm-catching boxes. The lure mimics the natural scent bees use to find new hive sites, giving beekeepers a simple, chemical-free way to draw in scout bees and capture swarms.

At a glance

• Type: Nasonov pheromone swarm attractant lure, 3-pack
• Target species: Honey bees (Apis mellifera)
• Lure life: Up to 12 months (365-day lures)
• Use: Place one vial in an empty hive or swarm-catching box
• Storage: Freeze lures when not in use
• Approach: Chemical-free, supports pollinator populations

Best for

• Attracting honey bee swarms to new or empty hives
• Baiting swarm-catching boxes during swarm season
• Home gardeners, homesteaders, and small-scale beekeepers
• Supporting pollinators in the garden ecosystem
• Repopulating equipment with minimal effort

How to use

Place one vial on the floor of a clean, empty hive or swarm-catching box before or during swarm season. The pheromone gradually disperses to guide scout bees and swarms to the location. Position the hive in a shaded spot and keep it ready for occupation. Freeze any unused lures for long-term storage.
