Pest Wizard Lilac Borer Lure 3-Pack

The Pest Wizard Lilac Borer Lure 3-Pack is a set of three pheromone lures that attract male lilac/ash borer moths (Podosesia syringae) for monitoring in landscapes and orchards. Placed in a red delta trap, the lures give organic growers a chemical-free way to track this clearwing borer, whose larvae tunnel into the lower trunk of stressed trees.

At a glance

• Type: Pheromone attractant lure, 3-pack
• Target: Lilac/ash borer (Podosesia syringae), male moths
• Lure life: Effective for about 30 days each
• Use with: Red paper delta trap (sold separately)
• Hosts: Lilac, ash, and other stressed ornamental trees
• Approach: Organic, chemical-free monitoring

Best for

• Monitoring lilac, ash, and ornamental trees for borer activity
• Detecting adult flights before larvae damage the lower trunk
• Protecting stressed trees most at risk of infestation
• Landscape and orchard IPM programs
• Refreshing an existing delta trap setup

How to use

Place a lure inside a red paper delta trap and hang it near the trees you want to monitor. Replace each lure about every 30 days, or per the life indicated on the package, and continue replacing lures and traps through the season as traps fill with insects.
