Pest Wizard Maple Callus Borer Moth Lure 3-Pack

The Pest Wizard Maple Callus Borer Moth Lure 3-Pack is a set of three non-toxic pheromone lures that selectively attract the maple callus borer moth (Synanthedon acerni) for monitoring shade and ornamental maples. Used with a delta trap, the lures give organic growers a chemical-free way to track adult flights and protect maple trees.

At a glance

• Type: Pheromone attractant lure, 3-pack
• Target: Maple callus borer moth (Synanthedon acerni)
• Lure life: Three 30-day lures
• Use with: Pest Wizard paper delta trap or reusable plastic delta trap (sold separately)
• Hosts: Red, silver, and sugar maples, with a preference for silver maples
• Approach: Non-toxic, organic monitoring

Best for

• Monitoring red, silver, and sugar maples for borer activity
• Detecting adult flights before larvae damage bark and callus tissue
• Timing organic interventions during the season
• Landscape and orchard IPM programs
• Refreshing an existing delta trap setup

How to use

Place a lure inside a paper or plastic delta trap and hang it near the maples you want to monitor. Replace each lure about every 30 days, or per the life indicated on the package, and continue replacing lures and traps through the season as traps fill with insects.
