Pest Wizard Raspberry Crown Borer Trap Kit

The Pest Wizard Raspberry Crown Borer Trap Kit is a complete, chemical-free monitoring system that pairs plastic delta traps with pheromone lures to catch raspberry crown borer (Pennisetia marginata). Early detection lets organic berry growers manage infestations before borers damage raspberry crowns and canes.

At a glance

• Type: Complete trap kit (traps plus lures)
• Kit contains: 2 plastic delta traps, 2 pheromone lures, and 2 metal hangers
• Target: Raspberry crown borer (Pennisetia marginata)
• Coverage: One trap per raspberry patch
• Timing: Early to mid-summer, before adult emergence
• Approach: Organic, chemical-free monitoring

Best for

• Monitoring backyard gardens and berry patches
• Early detection of crown borer activity
• Protecting raspberry plants from larval damage
• Berry garden and farm IPM programs
• Tracking pest pressure through the season

How to use

Assemble the traps, add a lure to each, and hang them with the metal hangers in the raspberry patch in early to mid-summer, before adults emerge. Check traps regularly to track activity, replace lures as their potency drops, and swap traps as they fill with insects.
