Pest Wizard Variegated Cutworm Lure 3-Pack

The Pest Wizard Variegated Cutworm Lure 3-Pack is a set of three pheromone lures that attract male variegated cutworm moths (Peridroma saucia, also called pearly underwing) for garden monitoring. Placed in a red delta trap, the lures give organic gardeners a chemical-free way to track adult flights before larvae feed on young plants.

At a glance

• Type: Pheromone attractant lure, 3-pack
• Target: Variegated cutworm moth (Peridroma saucia), male moths
• Lure life: Effective for about 30 days each
• Use with: Red paper delta trap (sold separately)
• Damage: Larvae feed on young plants at the soil line
• Approach: Organic, chemical-free monitoring

Best for

• Monitoring vegetable gardens and field crops for cutworm activity
• Detecting adult flights before larvae cut young plants
• Timing organic interventions during the season
• Garden and crop IPM programs
• Refreshing an existing delta trap setup

How to use

Place a lure inside a red paper delta trap and set it near the plants you want to monitor. Replace each lure about every 30 days, or per the life indicated on the package, and continue replacing lures and traps through the season as traps fill with insects.
