How to grow
Sow directly in the garden 1 inch deep once soils have warmed to 70 to 85°F and frost danger has passed, with germination in 5 to 11 days. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil rich in organic matter, keeping the seedbed evenly moist and avoiding overhead watering. Bush plants set their crop over a few weeks; leave pods on the plant until fully dry, then shell and store in an airtight container.
