Pro Winter Feed

Pro Winter Feed is a soft, cookie-dough-style sugar paste for fall and winter feeding, working like fondant or a sugar brick. Easy to scoop, shape, and press onto the top bars, it gives colonies carbohydrate-rich backup food when natural stores run low, with very low protein so it does not trigger early brood rearing.

At a glance

• Type: Soft sugar paste winter feed
• Texture: Cookie-dough consistency, easy to scoop and shape
• Season: Fall and winter feeding or emergency backup
• Formulation: Carbohydrate-rich with very low protein to prevent early brood rearing
• Placement: Press onto top bars under an 8-frame or 10-frame inner cover, no parchment needed

Best for

• Emergency winter food to help prevent starvation
• Cold-weather feeding without stimulating brood
• Beekeepers wanting an easy fondant alternative

How to use

Scoop out a portion, form it into a patty, and press it directly onto the top bars beneath the inner cover. Use it through fall and winter as a precaution or when colonies are noticeably light on stores. No wax paper or parchment is needed.
