How to grow
Direct sow 1 inch deep in warm soil after all danger of frost, planting in hills with plenty of room for the vines to spread. Grow in full sun in rich, well-drained soil and water deeply and consistently. Give vines space to run, and harvest when the rind is hard and fully orange with a dry stem.
