How to grow
Direct sow 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep after the danger of frost has passed and soils have warmed to 50 to 70°F, with germination in 2 to 15 days. Purslane grows in almost any soil with dry to moderate moisture and does best in full sun. Thin to 6 to 12 inches apart and harvest leaves continuously through the season.
